StructureSense

Supervisors had 200 tagged devices across three vendors and no way to answer "where is it?" I designed one dot on a floor plan in place of five positioning methods, with zones and alerts supervisors set up themselves. Deployed across a 50,000 sq ft facility.

Take-Home Exercise

A timed take-home for a legal-AI startup: design how a lawyer acts on AI-flagged contract risk. The brief asked for one frame; the real question was where findings should live relative to the document, so I carried four competing layouts through the same three states and ended on what I would test first.

Apple Design Challenge

Developers handing work to AI agents need to see what an agent did and trust it before merging. I explored six directions and took one to a working, clickable prototype: agent traces, live-run states, and PR review, built to test the design rather than ship it.

Personal Project

When Google shut down the only free lookup, people lost the easy way to find their city council and school board reps. I designed one address search covering federal to city hall: 450 officials across 24 states, on $0/month of infrastructure.

Facilities teams and installers run city lighting on sites with and without Wi-Fi. I designed one control surface where the radio disappears: pick a device, pick a color, and a light a mile away behaves like one in the next room.

Lowe's

Led competitive analysis across 12 retailers to identify UX improvements to Lowe's self-checkout donation flow, targeting a 10-second reduction in transaction time while increasing donation conversion.

Walmart

Designed and prototyped a user account system for WalmartChecks.com — enabling saved check designs, saved addresses, and email campaign capabilities using the site's existing component library.

Mapterial

Led UX design for a rebuild of Mapterial's COVID-19 testing and administration platform — covering user research, onboarding flows, Material Design system, and high-fidelity prototypes.

TripChamp

Designed the UI/UX redesign of TripChamp's travel agent platform, creating a modular design system covering color, typography, grid, and responsive component layouts.

A warehouse needed environmental monitoring it could install without IT on site. I designed two enclosure variants around one sensor suite and deployed 12 units across a 50,000 sq ft facility.

Lighting and actuator control needed commands to land in seconds, not the 45 seconds standard LoRaWAN allowed. I directed an AI-written, open-source Class C library that brought downlink latency under 5 seconds.
