Senior Product Designer — Austin, TX

I'm a senior product designer with 10+ years shaping enterprise and 0→1 product experiences, most recently at Lowe's and Visa. My work starts the same way every time: figure out who actually has to use this, what decision they're trying to make, and what they can act on — then cut everything that doesn't serve that. Before design I worked as a front-end and web applications developer, which means I don't have to stop at a spec. I use AI-native workflows to turn designs into real, deployed software, and that matters for one reason above the rest: a prototype someone can use answers questions a static mockup can only argue about.

In 2025 I co-founded StructureSense and owned the product end to end — the operator dashboards, device-management workflows, and commissioning tools — then took the whole thing from concept to a working system deployed for a real client. Before that I spent years on complex enterprise workflows and design systems at scale. If you need someone to figure out what to build and then make it real, that's what I do.

Owned product design end to end for a connected-operations platform — operator dashboards, device-management workflows, and field commissioning tools
Designed a real-time location dashboard that turned raw multi-vendor sensor data from 200 active devices into a clear operator view with alerting
Took the product from concept to a working system deployed across a 50,000 sq ft facility; the proof-of-concept generated active interest from 2 prospective clients
Directed an AI-assisted build with Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and Antigravity to turn designs into working, deployed software
Published LoraManager2, an open-source Arduino/PlatformIO Class C LoRaWAN library for ESP32 + SX1262

Sole designer on the charitable donation experience for Lowe's self-checkout — researched how major retailers handle in-checkout donation UX, designed the solution, and drove it to live implementation in stores. The redesigned experience generates roughly $1M per year in charitable donations
Brought assisted and mobile checkout to parity with self-checkout, where average transaction time had already been driven from 1:10 to under a minute. Closed the flow and interaction gaps so all three lanes met the same bar at Fortune 50 scale
Led design decisions and tactical UX for product groups — design maps, user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and comps
Partnered with UX, Product, and Engineering to ship cohesive customer and associate experiences across the portfolio
Managed visual and interactive assets within the Lowe's Digital design system to keep the product portfolio consistent
