Overview

Developed internal web applications for Walmart’s human resources department during a summer internship. Built cross-browser compatible tools using JavaScript, jQuery, and Java with the Spring Framework on the backend.

• Developed cross-browser internal web applications for the HR department using JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and HTML
• Hand-coded reusable plugins using unobtrusive JavaScript and CSS for future applications
• Created applications following Information Systems Development Life Cycle (ISDLC) processes
• Used Java and Spring Framework to generate printable copies from online application data

Technical Details

The applications followed enterprise development standards with a Java/Spring backend and JavaScript/jQuery frontend. Special attention was paid to cross-browser compatibility and reusable component architecture, with plugins designed for use across multiple future HR applications.
